Consent Language — Marketing Emails
Purpose: Opt-in text for marketing/promotional email. Capture in ConsentLog with consent_type = marketing_email. Honour withdrawals via EmailSuppression.
1. Opt-in (separate, UNTICKED by default)#
☐ (Optional) I would like to receive newsletters, event recommendations, offers, and updates from EnthiosHub by email. I understand this is optional, is not required to use the Services, and that I can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email or via my account settings.
Record as: consent_type = marketing_email, granted = true.
2. Unsubscribe / footer text (include in every marketing email)#
You are receiving this email because you opted in to marketing communications from EnthiosHub. [Unsubscribe] · [Manage preferences] [ENTITY LEGAL NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS].
3. Implementation notes#
- Do not pre-tick. Marketing consent must be affirmative and separate from Terms/Privacy acceptance.
- Every marketing email must include a working one-click unsubscribe and the sender's identity and postal address.
- On unsubscribe, add the address to
EmailSuppressionand stop marketing sends immediately (transactional emails may continue). - Transactional emails (OTP, receipts, event reminders) do not require marketing consent but must not contain promotional content.
